ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE RESEARCHER is seeking a talented AI Researcher to join our team and lead research efforts in artificial intelligence (AI) for virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing, along with experience in developing AI algorithms and models for immersive experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects spanning various industries, including bus driving transit authorities, tourism, education, and medical sectors.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct research and experimentation in AI techniques and algorithms to advance the state-of-the-art in VR/AR applications.

  • Design and develop AI models for tasks such as object recognition, scene understanding, gesture recognition, and natural language understanding in immersive environments. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into VR/AR applications and enhance user experiences.

  • Explore innovative approaches to data generation, simulation, and synthesis to facilitate AI training in VR/AR environments.

  • Evaluate and benchmark AI models on relevant datasets and metrics, and iterate on model designs to improve performance and robustness.

  • Stay updated on the latest research trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, computer vision, and VR/AR technology, and contribute to the scientific community through publications and presentations.

  • Work closely with engineers and developers to implement AI algorithms and models in production environments, and support testing and validation efforts.

Who You are

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in AI research, with a focus on machine learning, computer vision, or natural language processing

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java for AI development

  • Strong understanding of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about research challenges

  • Experience working with VR/AR technologies and platforms.

  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning, generative models, or multimodal learning techniques.

  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and distributed training frameworks.

  • Track record of publications in top-tier conferences or journals in AI and related fields.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment
