We’re excited to be heading to the upcoming Green Jobs event with King County Metro Transit, where we’ll be showcasing the next generation of driver training... it will be hands-on, immersive, and built for real-world impact.
This will be so much more than a demo. It’s a glimpse into how transit agencies are rethinking training from day one... and how KCM are leading the way

Step Into the Driver’s Seat
At the center of our booth will be our new and improved portable driving simulators, designed to be compact, powerful, and deployable anywhere.
Visitors will be able to:
Experience week-one foundational driver training, built to accelerate confidence from day one
Try our multi-player free driving, navigating real Seattle city roads alongside others in a shared virtual environment
See how simulation can move beyond solo practice into collaborative, scenario-based learning
This is training that feels real because it’s designed around the real challenges drivers face every day... and built closely with driving instructors.

Tackling the Most Common (and Costly) Incidents
Most people assume major collisions are the biggest risk in transit.
They’re not.
One of the most frequent and expensive incidents is mirror strikes, and they’re often caused by situations that feel counterintuitive, even for experienced drivers.
That’s why we’ve built a gamified mirror strike training experience that helps drivers:
Recognize high-risk scenarios early
Build instinctive awareness in tight environments
Learn through repetition in a safe, engaging way
This isn't your usual watch a video training... it’s behavior change, reinforced through gamified experience.

Go Beyond the Surface with Mixed Reality
We’re also introducing something new: mixed reality training inside a virtual reality headset.
At the event, you’ll be able to explore a full wheel assembly in an interactive 3D environment—perfect for:
Pre-trip inspection training
Understanding vehicle systems
Reinforcing maintenance knowledge
Instead of memorizing checklists, trainees can see, interact with, and understand the components in a way that sticks.

Put the Entire Bus in Your Pocket
What if training didn’t require a classroom—or even a simulator?
With our augmented reality (AR) mobile experiences, it doesn’t.
We’ll be demonstrating how you can:
Place a full-scale virtual bus in your real-world environment using your phone
Walk around it, explore key components, and learn procedures
Access training anytime, anywhere
It’s a powerful way to make learning more accessible, especially for new recruits exploring a career in transit.

Why This Matters
Transit agencies like King County Metro Transit are investing in innovative training not just to improve skills—but to:
Build stronger career pathways
Attract the next generation of drivers
Improve safety and reduce costly incidents
Support more sustainable, efficient public transportation systems
And it all starts with better training experiences.
